Bio


Omprakash Ramalingam Rethnam is a construction management graduate from Trichy. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in “Mechanical engineering” from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, and his Master’s degree in “Construction Technology and Management” from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
He was working with L&T Ltd. from 2014 to 2020 catering to multifunctional roles from design engineer to proposals-estimation manager, and then started his pursuit of doctoral research
He has been selected for the prestigious PMRF fellowship for December 2020 and has been working on the domain of ‘Urban Building Energy Modelling’ supervised by Prof. Albert Thomas (https://www.civil.iitb.ac.in/~albert/) at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay

The course provides the tools and techniques necessary for analyzing energy policies. Students will be expected to carry out a project to analyze an existing policy in a specific context or design a policy intervention for a specific goal.
